The second of two weddings we undertook over the Spring bank holiday weekend in 2011, Emma and James’ big day took place at The Curradine Barns in Shrawley, Worcestershire.
Our day began with Sarah meeting with the men at a local country pub while I made for the venue to cover the bride’s preparations. With no further travelling to do, it meant everyone could just relax and enjoy the venue for the rest of the day.
After a short civil service, we got the formal group photos out of the way in no time, but with the sun at full strength the entire afternoon, we decided it was just a bit too bright and opted to do most of the ‘couple’ photos in the early evening. Although it’s not always possible to do this, it does mean we can get better results and it’s something we always try to do for summer weddings.
