“Again, thank you so much for the beautiful photography work you provided.
The pictures I have seen so far have been breath taking!
You really managed to capture the feel of the day in beautiful style.”
On the outskirts of Redditch, just off the A41, a really lovely wedding venue lies hidden behind old woodland trees. Gorcott Hall only hosts weddings on alternate weekends as the 16th century Tudor manor house is still a family home. It’s a really beautiful building which manages to be grand and understated at the same time. Our first visit there was in July, for the wedding of Vicky and David.
A fine summer’s day lay ahead as Vicky and her bridesmaids arrived at the venue to get ready in one of Gorcott’s rooms in a converted barn, adjacent to the main house.
The late-afternoon service was held inside the main house, in the sitting room. Able to hold up to 65 guests, this is an ideal room for smaller weddings and it looked lovely.
Following drinks in the gardens the wedding party made its way into The Barn for the reception and this was also where the evening party was held. Entertainment was provided by the brilliant Kudos Big Band.
We absolutely loved our first wedding at Gorcott Hall. Coordinator Adrian and his staff did a great job running the day and Vicky and Dave were just the nicest people to work with. We especially enjoyed the evening photo shoot around the Gorcott grounds and it’s a venue we very much look forward to returning to. To Vicky and David – thank you 🙂
