“For us the overwhelming memory of the day is being completely surrounded by joy, fun & laughter, and that really shows in the pictures!”

A Fabulous Day With Your Favourite People

Love, friendship, anticipation, nerves, joy, laughter. All of these wonderful things are present at every wedding –  each one a small story unfolding in front of us and  making for wonderful pictures.  Beautifully crafted with layering, context and an empathetic eye, they’re pictures with relevance, depth and timeless appeal.

Of course we’ll do group photos of your nearest and dearest, but gimmicks and ‘staged’ events really aren’t our thing.  What actually happens on your wedding day is far more interesting and personal than anything we could contrive.  A day with your favourite people, captured in a relaxed way, with beautiful light, colour and life.

Gorgeous Couple Portraits

We think it’s important that you have a bit of breathing space and a chance to enjoy each other’s company away from the hubbub of the day, so our couple portraits are less about ‘posing’ and more about giving you some downtime.

We’ll give you enough direction so you look good to the camera, but we really want to capture you two as you are – how you interact and bounce off each other, for as long or as short as you like.

“When they sent us the photos themselves, we were absolutely blown away. Every single picture was incredible. The fact that they could literally be in two places at once really made a difference, for example being able to capture my nervousness with the groomsmen at the front of the church while my wife was getting ready just outside, and we felt we could relive the day just by watching the slideshow they put together.”

Meet Your Photographers

We live in Bromsgrove – between Birmingham and Worcester – with our two small dogs, Pippa and Bella.  We’ve been together since 2004.  We like the simple things in life such as hiking up hills, walks in the woods, good food and visiting interesting places.  We love music that makes us teary and films that resonate with the soul.  You could probably call us ‘quiet people’ – we’re not ones to stamp our personality all over your wedding and we’d much rather be photographing the fun rather than trying to create it.

We’ve been photographing weddings since 2007.  Although venues, dresses and details are all very nice, it’s really about the people and the interactions between them.  Whether you choose to have both of us, or just Rob, we’ll photograph your wedding as quiet observers, with a keen eye, classy images and amazing service.

“From start to finish we were treated like friends rather than another ‘client’ …from the cup of tea at their house to look through their work, a walk in the park for our pre wedding shoot and the huge hugs from them on the morning of our wedding we really felt at ease and in safe hands. Something we as a ‘non posing’ couple really valued!”

Before, During & After

Quality and service is our thing and we set the bar high.   From our first contact with you through to the big day and beyond, we want you to feel looked after and in safe hands.

Experience Galore

We’ve photographed well over 300 weddings and we invite you to draw upon that experience before, during and after the big day – whether it’s locations, timings, other suppliers, album design or just general advice about how the wedding day works.  You’re also choosing the passion that we inject into our work and our untiring sense of ‘doing things right’.

Quality Counts

From how we frame and capture a moment all the way through to the final editing, we work really hard to maintain a high level of feel and consistency.  Far beyond mere snaps, our pictures are a heartfelt and cohesive record of your day.

A Personal Service

We keep to a limit of about 30 weddings each year so that we’re able to put all of our energy and passion into each and every one.  It’s just the two of us and we don’t use associate photographers, so you know that when you book, we’re here for you all the way through to the wedding day and beyond.

Getting Ready

We love photographing ‘the preps’ as they introduce the key people and set the scene for the rest of the day.  By keeping in the background as much as possible we’re able to capture all of the emotions – the excitement, the nerves, the tension and the fun present during the morning of a wedding.

The Ceremony

Wedding ceremonies are an amazing mix of nervous energy, reflection and joy. Whether a religious or a civil service, the ceremony is the centrepiece of the day and one of the most rewarding to photograph.  It’s why we’re all here!

Time for everyone to relax a little, but the reception is also the single busiest part of the day in terms of photos.  Receptions encompass the drinks reception, group photos as well as the speeches and are packed full of photo moments.

The Two of You

Pictures of the two of you alone are some of the most important of the whole day and some of the most creative and enjoyable for us to photograph.  By keeping these sessions private and quiet, you can relax and be yourselves.   It’s not about ‘posing’  – it’s more about capturing the two of you together.  Think of it as a nice break – a bit of downtime with some peace and quiet. for as much or as little time as you prefer.

The Evening

Everyone’s at their most relaxed and with all the formalities of the day out of the way it’s time to party!  But the evening isn’t just about doing a first dance – we love capturing the early evening moments between guests, the chaotic fun of the dancefloor as well as some classy evening portraits of the two of you.
