“Wow. What a present to come home to; the photographs are simply stunning. I cried when we viewed the slide show! We cannot tell you just how happy we are and what a fantastic job you both did, thank you so much for immortalising our wonderful day!”
A few days after returning from our much-needed holiday in Italy, we photographed our first 2014 wedding with a truly Autumnal feel. Amy and Jamie booked us about a year prior and had held both their wedding ceremony and reception at Packington Moor farm in Staffordshire.
This was our second wedding at this popular venue and once again we really enjoyed working in the rustic buildings and grounds. Packington Moor is very much a working farm with a busy farm shop on-site, so it all feels ‘real’ not contrived.
Following the ceremony, group photos were despatched nice and quickly before we took Amy and Jamie off for a short time for some photos of them alone – with their dog!
Later on after the speeches, we were treated to a lovely clear early evening with beautiful and vibrant evening colour. The conditions were just too good to miss so we got Amy and Jamie out again for a second photo session during the last minutes of sunlight.
This was a really lovely wedding to cover and the couple were just fantastic to work with. Evening entertainment was provided by the brilliant Dr Bluegrass & The Illbilly 8 who managed to get everyone up on the dance floor and provided a rowdy and and fun end to our coverage for the day.
So here’s some photos from Amy and Jamie’s wedding at Packington Moor – hope you like them.
