“Thank you so much for the photos they look fantastic and you have really both captured some excellent moments.”
Rebecca and Rob kept their October wedding local. Their service was held at St Ambrose RC church just a few minutes from their home in Kidderminster, with the reception a short drive away at Avoncroft Museum in Bromsgrove.
This was a wedding with a strong family feel to it and it all centred around the Catholic church service at St Ambrose’. The church sits right on the busy Birmingham Rd just outside Kidderminster town centre, but you’d never know it once you’re inside the large, cavernous interior.
It’s always nice to return to Avoncroft – it’s the venue we got married at ourselves – indeed Rebecca and Rob’s wedding was held one day after our own anniversary. The couple had decked out the Guesten Hall beautifully. A particularly nice touch was the sweets. This wasn’t just a table of sweet jars, but a fully functional ‘shop’ – courtesy of Emily’s Best Travelling Sweet Shop.
The ‘couple photos’ at Avoncroft are always a bit of an adventure due to the size of the grounds and the scope of the museum’s buildings. Rob and Rebecca photo session was no exception and as they had factored in a good chunk of time we were able to get a really nice range of pictures. Avoncroft often has themed events taking place so it was fun to get a quick shot of the couple with one of the event teams in full period costume.
Big thanks to Rebecca and Rob and all the best! 🙂
