“WOW! These are stunning, thank you so much!
We’ve had a pretty emotional afternoon looking through these, and can’t stop smiling.
We love them, and they really capture the atmosphere of the day – just as we knew you would do.”
In September we photographed a wonderful autumn wedding, absolutely full of emotion and with an amazing range of beautiful details. This was the wedding of Lyndsey and Dan.
Like most of the weddings we’ve seen at Pendrell Hall, Lyndsey and Dan held their entire day there. It’s a venue that is particularly well suited to those couples who prefer to keep their wedding to one location. Simply put, it all ‘works’ very well indeed.
When the time came to capture their table details, the couple had ‘warned’ us in advance that there would be a lot to photograph. We had allowed a little more time than usual for this part of our schedule and upon seeing the Ballroom, we were glad that we had!
Each table had two themes, decoration within those themes and its own unique flowers. Every single guest had a unique, personalised favour – including train tickets, OS maps, magazine covers, portrait prints, book covers, wine bottles and many more. The amount of work that had gone into creating all this must have been almost insurmountable and yet, there it all was before us. Brilliant and clever, but completely personal .
On every level , this was simply a fantastic wedding. Heartfelt, honest but with a big ‘wow’ factor and (for us), rich in photo opportunities. From the morning preps to the ceremony itself to the speeches to our evening photo shoot with the couple, this was a joy to photograph from start to finish. A huge “thank you” to Lyndsey and Dan for giving us the opportunity to capture this for you – it really was a privilege.
