In 2012, we photographed two weddings just before Christmas. The first was at a pair of venues we’ve worked at many times. Annika and Mark chose to get married at St Alphege church in central Solihull, with the reception at the Ramada Hotel opposite.
Although the rain came down all day long,it really didn’t cause any major issues. Much of this though, was down to Annika and Mark who were such good sports and had no problem going out in the rain (under an umbrella of course). Because the weather was so bad, we opted to do the majority of the ‘couple’ photos outside the church. This at least meant we could keep the couple under cover in archways. The couple also very kindly invited us to sit with their guests for the full wedding breakfast. Much appreciated and very nice, thank you!
Just after the Christmas break, we got a lovely email from Annika which started as follows:
“I am back “home” in Germany now and as the new year kind of settles in I would like to send you and Rob a HUGE-MASSIVE-HUMONGOUS THANK YOU for photographing our wedding. I haven’t seen any pictures yet but I am sure that you did a fantastic job!”
These are just a few photos from Mark and Annika’s big day. Enjoy.
