Karlina & Dan – St Bartholomew’s Tardebigge & Avoncroft Museum
“They’re absolutely fantastic. Thank you! Really captured the day!
We love them, after seeing it Dan said, “and that’s why we asked them to do our photos”
which I think sums up how great they are!”
Mid-way through our busy August we photographed a really lovely wedding close to home, full of hugs and laughs. Karlina and Dan’s service was held at St Bartholomew’s church in Tardebigge with their reception held at Avoncroft Museum.
We’d not worked at St Bartholomew’s before but Rev Richard Clark made us feel welcome and was happy for us to work unrestricted. It’s a lovely church, with an elegant spire which can be seen for miles around.
Following the service there was an enormous amount of congratulatory hugs from friends and family. We always love this part of the day as it provides such great picture opportunities and it’s so nice to see everyone just wanting to be there at that moment for the couple. When the hugs eventually subsided, the wedding party made their way to Avoncroft Museum for the reception where the pig-roast and other food was supplied by Colin and Debbie from Complete Caterers.
The timings for Karlina and Dan’s wedding worked beautifully and there was no shortage of ‘candid’ opportunities for us as the day progressed. We also had a really lovely photo session with the couple around Avoncroft’s grounds. A smashing day all-round really. Enjoy the photos!
