Hello and welcome. We’re a husband and wife photographer team based in Bromsgrove and working across the Midlands counties and beyond. We offer short coverage, half day and full day photography options with one photographer or two.
If you’re planning a wedding or private event at Hampton Manor and are looking for photography with a relaxed, natural feel then welcome to our special page. We have photographed weddings at Hampton Manor at all times of the year, from the cold of winter through to blistering summer heat and it’s a venue where we are always able to create gorgeous images.
Getting ready for your wedding day
If you’d like photos of the morning of your wedding we’ll cover it discreetly and without ‘faking’ anything while still capturing the atmosphere, key details and portraits as you prepare for the day.
Hampton Manor boasts 15 luxury bedrooms and suites, individually and tastefully decorated and most with beautiful large windows. The rooms all have a contemporary look with areas of light and shade.
As the bedrooms are not always available during the morning of a wedding, many grooms and their parties choose to get ready at The White Lion pub, located across the road from Hampton Manor and within easy walking distance.
Your civil wedding ceremony in The Birches at Hampton Manor
When photographing the wedding ceremony it’s all about working quietly and keeping out of the way, while still capturing all those moments through the marriage service. If you book the two of us we can cover front and rear views throughout the ceremony.
Hampton Manor is licenced for civil weddings in The Birches – an outbuilding which sits adjacent to the main manor house.
Church of England wedding ceremonies at Hampton-in-Arden parish church
For those wanting a Church of England service, the photogenic Parish Church of St Mary & St Bartholomew is situated just a short walk through the Hampton Manor grounds.
Church ceremonies are typically longer than for civil weddings and we’ll cover it from beginning to end. We’ll also liaise with the vicar to ensure we don’t get in their way during service.
Drinks reception & group photos on the terrace and inside the manor house
The afternoon drinks reception is the busiest point in the day for photos but our priority is always to ensure you have plenty of time with your guests. We will of course get some organised group photos and take the two of you away for a short time on your own – but candid, documentary-style pictures of everyone enjoying a drink and mingle are what we love best about this part of the day.
During warmer months, Hampton Manor’s main terrace serves as the gorgeous backdrop for your drinks reception and group photos. With plenty of space and seating. For weddings held at colder times of the year, the beautiful interior of the main house can be used.
The Courtyard – a place to eat, drink and be merry
Shortly before everyone is due to take their seats for the meal, we’ll capture some gorgeous details of the table places, cake and the room itself. It only takes 5-10 minutes but these pictures are an important record of the signature ‘look’ of your wedding.
The Courtyard at Hampton Manor provides a dramatic backdrop for these pictures. It was once the estate’s orangery and is a sharply styled dining area and bar, with a glass roof and air conditioning for use at any time of the year.

After the meal, the space will be rearranged for your evening party with a large dancefloor and plenty of space for a DJ or live band. Naturally, many of the evening party photos of are of action on the dancefloor and we like to get in the middle of it all to capture as many fun moments as possible.
Couple photos at Hampton Manor
The couple photo sessions are some of the most creative parts of our work and are always fun to do. Think of the couple photos as less about posing and more about enjoying a bit of time away from the crowd – a chance to just have some time together in Hampton Manor’s beautiful surroundings during the hubbub of the day. We’ll give you some simple direction so you present well to the camera, but these pictures are more about you two interacting with each other.
The Hampton Manor grounds are beautiful at any time of the year, with old-growth trees, lawns, pathways and wooded areas to use – not mention the manor house itself. An absolutely stunning location to take a bit of time away.
Private Events at Hampton Manor
In addition to weddings, Hampton Manor also hosts private events including fine dining, retreats and exclusive celebrations and we photograph them with the same approach and style we do for weddings.
Private events can take place in the main manor house, Grace & Saviour restaurant or Kynd restaurant (formerly known as ‘Smoke’).
