Hampton Manor Summer Wedding
Katreese & Joseff’s Scorching Hot Day
“Thank you so much, you both worked so hard on the day and you can just tell by looking at the photographs. You captured the joy & emotion of the day entirely! Thank you again for our beautiful photographs, looking at them really has been like reliving the most wonderful day all over again.”
Katreese and Joe got married on one of the warmest and brightest days of the year. It was held at Hampton-in-Arden parish church and Hampton Manor, and was a fantastic summer wedding full of life and love.
Katreese and her bridesmaids got ready for the day in one of the venue’s key bedrooms – the George Fentham room, which along with many other interiors at Hampton had been given a makeover since our last visit. Joe and the ushers got ready at The White Lion pub just across the road from the church, so our morning was all close together, which just makes things that bit simpler!
The wedding ceremony took place in the nearby Hampton-in-Arden parish church (St Mary & St Bartholomew) – just a short walk through the Hampton Manor grounds. This is always a lovely church and the cool interior provided a welcome break from the heat outside. The sun became more intense as we moved through the afternoon, so everyone was a bit relieved when they entered the Atrium for the meal and speeches – the air-conditioning was most welcome!
Following the speeches we took Katreese and Joe out around the grounds for their main photo shoot. We hadn’t really had much opportunity to get ‘couple shots’ during the afternoon – I mean, there’s just no way we wanted to interrupt all those hugs! But waiting until the evening would have been our preferred option anyway. With the sky still completely clear, the now-setting sun and the Hampton Manor grounds provided a truly stunning scene for photos. Strong directional light, rich colour and a fab couple meant we could create some of our favourite couple pictures of the entire year.
Enjoy the pictures!
