“Robin and Sarah were absolutely superb on our wedding day.

From the get go, they shared so much useful information to help with the planning. This was great for reference and planning the flow of the day, and we had it all from the day we signed the contract. They’re clearly experts and know what works, what doesn’t, and what they need to get results. Another huge win is that it meant we didn’t need to constantly go back with and forth with questions and info, and it let us spend more time planning the rest of the day. Honestly the dream vendor.

On the day itself, they showed up and actually seemed to be enjoying it! Sarah really helped us keep relaxed while we were getting ready and getting used to being on camera. Special shout-out because she helped us with our button-holes!!

Far and away the most impressive part is how quickly they got what they needed. From our call with Robin he made it clear that he didn’t want to drag us away from the party for ages to get hundreds and hundreds of photos. We were taken away for a grand total of about 40 minutes, meaning we got to spend more time with our loved ones, and still got so many amazing shots.

I’m not the most confident in front of the camera but the posing and tips from both Robin and Sarah made it so easy on the day.

If it’s in budget, really recommend getting both Robin and Sarah to join your day – both brought a different vision and it meant we got a some variation in our photos. We also extended the day by a few hours to get some if the evening reception and the photos turned out so much better than we could’ve imagined!

We wanted to find photographers who would capture our friends, family and slightly quirky wedding as they are, not staged. Every single expectation we had was exceeded! From the moment we reached out it was clear that Robin and Sarah understood the stress that a bride and groom go through when wedding planning. They went above and beyond to put us at ease and get to know us as a couple ahead of the big day. Questions were answered and reassurance offered, leaving us to worry about other things.

They know the venue (Avoncroft Museum) really well and guided us to the best locations for couple shots. Photographers are one of the vendors you have most contact with after the wedding day and I’ve been impressed with the quality and service of everything they’ve done since. Communication about timeframes and actions needed have been clear and friendly. Digital galleries and album building tools have been easy to use. Most importantly: the photos are stunning! I didn’t know we could look that good. They captured everything we hoped for and many magical moments and details that we would have missed otherwise.”

From the very early contact when making your booking you receive a access to a plethera of previous weddings in order to see their work, whole weddings rather than odd singled out individual shots, and you can be assured of their skill and and quality.

During the planning Robin and Sarah make sure that couples are able to make their day personal and unique. At no point were we shoehorned into a standard way of doing things – it was always personalised so by the time the wedding day arrived we were completely confident with how the day would be recorded. On the day, they are such a reassuring presence. They were sure to make sure our stated preferences were realised, but also adapted to the flow of the day monopolising on opportunities that arose. “Robin & Sarah did our wedding photos at Stanbrook Abbey and did such a fabulous job! It was a very long day with them arriving at 7am for hair/makeup preparations and leaving after 10pm! They covered 2 ceremonies for us (we had a Hindu ceremony in the morning and a civil ceremony in the afternoon) and they blended in so well with our guests, yet got the most stunning photos at the same time.

We had a pre-wedding shoot with them which we would FULLY recommend, to help you as a couple get used to being in front of the cameras, this is for the benefit of the couple photos , when you go off for photos just the two of you. The pre-wedding shoot was a little weird at the start, as you might expect – most people aren’t used to ‘just acting natural’ with cameras pointed at you!) but they both made us feel at ease very quickly; they told us to just chat between ourselves and the first thing we discussed was what was for dinner – hardly a long conversation discussion but gave us all a laugh, and apparently that’s quite common!! By the end of it we were just having a bit of a laugh between ourselves and felt very comfortable – the photos were stunning and we printed them to use as (very) large welcome signs at the front of our wedding venue on the wedding day itself. We received so many compliments on them!

The photos Robin & Sarah took of the wedding ceremonies were all super natural looking, and we barely noticed either of them during the services! The same can be said of the photos of our guests – many of the guests didn’t spot themselves being photographed at all!! They are brilliant at taking photos of moments that could so easily have been missed and, in doing so, preserve lots of mini ‘stories’ that make you smile when you look back at the pictures. It brings context to small parts of the overall day, which we really loved when we saw our final photos. During our wedding breakfast, Robin very discretely appeared at the head table behind us and told us there was an incredible sunset outside – he’d told us he’d keep an eye out, which he did, and they both got some lovely shots of us both out there before it disappeared. None of the guests even seemed to notice us sneak out between the food courses, and the photos came out beautifully – double win!!

We’ve just received our album from Robin & Sarah today. Despite the delay from our side, Robin was super approachable and very willing to make minor amendments (i.e. photo swaps/slight page layouts) for us on the work he’d already done so it was truly perfect. We had a lot of photos with it being a long day and wanted to make sure our all time favourites were in there. The final album looks so fantastic and we’re so grateful to both Rob and Sarah for their hard work both on the day itself and throughout the editing stages.

“Hiring Robin & Sarah as our photographers for our wedding day was one of the best choices we made.

Throughout the whole process Robin was friendly, professional and very understanding when we had to postpone our original date due to the pandemic. On the wedding day itself, both Robin and Sarah put us at ease which meant we were able to relax and have photos which captured our personalities. They were unobtrusive to our wedding guests which has resulted in some really lovely moments between friends and family being captured which we were thrilled to see as we were particularly interested in seeing photographs from parts of the day that we wouldn’t have seen for ourselves. They also understood that it was important for us that our baby was included wherever possible and thanks to Sarah’s excellent shaking of a rattle, we have come away with some absolutely beautiful pictures of our little boy.

“We had our wedding originally diarised in 2020 but was postponed due to Covid. Dates rearranged with no dramas to 2021 and communications throughout was key. On the actual wedding day both Robin & Sarah captured so many fantastic shots it was a headache in a pleasing way to choose which ones we would hang on the wall. Overall they captured some great less formal shots that we emphasised we wanted and couldn’t be more thrilled. Definitely recommend their skill, professionalism and artistic eye for detailed shots!”

Over the moon with how all the pictures turned out. Robin maintained the highest levels of professionalism from start to finish. From the video chats a month beforehand to his adaptability on the day, everything ran like clockwork.

We had a village hall wedding and did so much of it ourselves but the photos were not something we were willing to compromise on and we are very pleased with our decision.  Couldn’t recommend them more!

“We searched for a long time online to find the photographer(s) with the kind of quality and emotion that we had dreamed of for our wedding memories… and boy did we find them.  From an extensive search online I could find no one better in their field; atmospheric, in-the-moment, portraits with pure emotion. I use the word portrait because I don’t think ‘picture’ or ‘photograph’ does them justice. There are so many pictures that look like they must have been chosen from 1000s to get such good quality but they all captured particular moments which doesn’t allow for repeats. I was astounded by the quality of the results, not because I I didn’t trust and believe in Robin and Sarah, but because I didn’t think I could ever ‘look the part’ at a beautiful wedding.  Guys you did the impossible.

The results speak for themselves, but the process by which they were generated, i.e. Robin & Sarah’s ability to pop up at the right time without anyone knowing they were there was magical. They let our day flow, capturing what was in front of their eyes, being sympathetic to moments where we were with friends or alone but letting us know when the time was right for a few couple shots when the light was perfect or when we were more available. I would book these guys again in an instant if we had to do it all again. From the moment we saw the first picture on their website we knew they had to be the ones.

The pandemic meant lots of uncertainty, changes of plan, and rather bizarre circumstances but Rob was completely on top of the latest regulations and was so proactive, flexible and just generally really helpful – it was great to have one less thing to worry about when everything was so up in the air.

There were many tense months before our date but Rob was clear and communicative about our options in relation to COVID-19 and was very flexible in terms of offering postponements to couples if that was what they wished to do. “Rob and Sarah photographed our wedding in November and the photos are absolutely wonderful! They came recommended from friends and we had been at a couple of weddings which they photographed so we already knew they would do a brilliant job, but the photos of our own wedding were more than we could have ever expected, imagined or hoped for.

Looking through them is like reliving the day – Rob and Sarah captured it so perfectly! Our friends and family who we have shared the photos with are amazed by not only their talent, but also their discretion and hiding skills on the day – they can’t recall them being around for most of the pictures! “When we booked Rob and Sarah as our wedding photographers we knew we 100% that we had made the right decision. We had met with a few photographers beforehand but none were as friendly and approachable as Rob and Sarah were. They made us feel very comfortable from the day we booked them. “Robin and Sarah were absolutely fantastic. We have just received the pictures from our wedding day and they are everything we could hope for. We were nervous about posing and having our pictures taken, but the couple helped to relax us and gave easy to follow instructions that led to some beautiful natural feeling photos.

They really have an incredible skill at making sure every moment and every feeling is captured perfectly. This means the authentic emotions of the day really shine in their photos. You also get to have two photographers with different perspectives, which meant we didn’t miss a thing.

 A meeting was set up in advance (which was thankfully done over Skype due to our distance from the area) to talk about what we could expect and to give us a chance to make any special requests. After capturing beautiful shots of my sister-in-law’s wedding in 2012 and my sister’s wedding in 2016, I didn’t hesitate to book Rob & Sarah for my own wedding in June 2018.
