We’re Robin & Sarah, husband and wife wedding photographers based in Worcestershire.  If you’re planning your wedding at the Elgar Room in Malvern and looking for photography with a natural feel, then welcome!

The Elgar Room is a lovely venue, ideally suited to a smaller wedding ceremony with one photographer.  It is located on the edge of the photogenic Priory Park.

We’ve been photographing weddings since 2007 and have special options for smaller or shorter weddings.

Civil wedding ceremonies at The Elgar Room

The Elgar Room is located at The Council House in the centre of Great Malvern and is an ideal venue for a smaller civil wedding ceremony, being able to accommodate up to 50 people.  It is owned and run by Malvern Hills District Council.  You can read more about how we photograph weddings at this kind of venue on our special register office wedding photography page.

After the ceremony

The Elgar Room opens out onto a terraced area overlooking the edge of Priory Park.  A great spot for a confetti throw, hugs from your favourite people and a few organised group photos.

The Elgar Room sits on the edge of Priory Park in Great Malvern.  The park is an convenient and picturesque location for photographs of the two of you, with it’s mature trees, ornate wooden bridge, bandstand, mature trees, pathways, pond and flowers.

About The Elgar Room in Malvern

The Elgar Room is located inside the Council House in the heart of Great Malvern and serves as the town’s principal venue for civil wedding and civil partnership ceremonies. Named after Worcestershire’s own Sir Edward Elgar, the room has plenty of natural light and simple, traditional décor in keeping with the heritage of the building. With capacity for up to 50 guests, it’s well suited to smaller, intimate ceremonies and opens out onto a terraced area overlooking the edge of Priory Park – providing a beautiful natural backdrop for photographs immediately after the ceremony. The venue is managed by Malvern Hills District Council and offers disabled access, ample parking, and easy access.
