The Elgar Room is located inside the Council House in the heart of Great Malvern and serves as the town’s principal venue for civil wedding and civil partnership ceremonies. Named after Worcestershire’s own Sir Edward Elgar, the room has plenty of natural light and simple, traditional décor in keeping with the heritage of the building. With capacity for up to 50 guests, it’s well suited to smaller, intimate ceremonies and opens out onto a terraced area overlooking the edge of Priory Park – providing a beautiful natural backdrop for photographs immediately after the ceremony. The venue is managed by Malvern Hills District Council and offers disabled access, ample parking, and easy access.
