Wedding at The Manor House Hotel,
Moreton-in-Marsh

Like many other couples we’ve worked with, their original plans were waylaid by pandemic restrictions and they eventually settled on a date in August 2021.  They had chosen The Manor House Hotel, located in the busy Cotswold village of Moreton-in-Marsh and their entire day was spent there, with many of the guests stopping at the hotel.  This was the first time we’d worked at this venue, so we were very much looking forward to Toni and Kevin’s day and it didn’t disappoint!  We are wedding photographers based in the Midlands and the Cotwolds is an area we get to visit every so often.

Civil wedding ceremony in Sezincote Suite

The Manor House Hotel is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies indoors or outdoors.  Toni and Kevin had been hoping for an outdoor ceremony, but unfortunately the great British weather had other ideas!  So with no fuss the staff switched to an indoor wedding ceremony in the Sezincote Suite – nicely sized room with decent natural light that opens out onto a private bar area for the everyone to relax in afterwards.

With the afternoon drinks wrapped up it was time for food!  Toni and Kevin’s wedding meal was hosted in the Hidcote Suit, which is adjacent to the other areas used for their wedding.  It’s a stylish, spacious room with views of the garden and which opens out onto the terrace.

Wedding photography opportunities at The Manor House Hotel

The Manor House is a lovely wedding venue to photograph.  Although the hotel doesn’t cover a huge area, it has plenty of variation for photos, with the Cotswold limestone exteriors, stylish indoor areas.  We particularly liked the beautiful gardens which make for a lovely location on a summer evening.  We found the staff to all be pleasant and efficient and the food was lovely too.  We very much look forward to going back!
