“We had a real laugh with Robin and we trusted his creative photography fully. He pays huge attention to detail, aiming to really incorporate the surroundings in our photos, and his perfectionism really shines through”
Gemma & Tom’s small wedding at The Henley Room & Barn at Berryfields, photographed by Robin

Gemma and Tom enquired about photography for a short and small wedding in Stratford-upon-Avon with a meal to follow. This was to be for closest family and friends only and for about 3 hours. And, due to the small size, was to be photographed by Robin on his own.
However, after a chat on Zoom, it transpired that this was just for their ‘legal’ wedding and that a much larger celebration was planned for the same week at another venue. So within the space of an hour, an enquiry for a small wedding transformed into a two-day booking, one with Robin for three hours and the other with both of us for a full day!
Legal ceremony at The Henley Room, Stratford-upon-Avon
For the ‘legal’ ceremony, Gemma and Tom chose The Henley Room in Stratford-upon-Avon, a venue we’ve worked at many times in the past and are completely familiar with. This was a simple but heartfelt ceremony with personalised vows and lots of laughs and tears from the couple and the guests. Outside, lots of hugs with a handful of group photos and then just a few quick photos with the couple.
Wedding reception at The Barn at Berryfields, Meriden
After leaving Stratford, everyone made their way over to the village of Meriden for a reception meal at The Barn at Berryfields. This is an independent restaurant with a great reputation for food and is capable of hosting small private events in its dedicated function room. The Barn at Berrryfields also has an attractive outdoor area where the majority of Gemma and Tom’s photos were taken before the meal was due to begin.
