An intimate wedding at Bromsgrove Registration Office & Lickey Hills, photographed by Robin

Wedding Ceremony at Bromsgrove Register Office
As Worcestershire wedding photographers, we’ve worked all over our home county but it’s always a nice treat to get to photograph a wedding in our home town of Bromsgrove. This wedding – covered by Robin on his own – was at the register office in the centre of Bromsgrove and was an intimate, family-focused day that was lovely to work on.
Bromsgrove Registration Office can be found in the main building for Bromsgrove District Council. Built in 1912, the Grade II listed building was – for most of its life – a school. It now forms part of the Parkside complex and it was here on a soggy day in May that F&A got married. This was a small wedding indeed – just nine guests.
The ceremony room at Bromsgrove register office has an slightly unconventional layout compared to some, but it’s a nice room with plenty of natural light and it still has that old ‘school’ feel to it.
The weather actually managed to get worse during the ceremony, so it was decided to forgo photos outside the building. Instead, everyone moved onto the celebration meal that had been planned at a pub nearby. Once the weather had settled, Robin went off with the couple up on to the Lickey Hills for photo of the two of them.
Wedding Photo Shoot on the Lickey Hills
The Lickey Hills are somewhat special for us – we live at the foot of them and have many happy memories walking our dogs on the peaks and in the beautiful woods. The Lickeys are also where many of our photo shoots have taken place over the years, being convenient and accessible.
This was a simple photo shoot using some of the picturesque locations and it was a lovely way to finish off the time with the couple.
Enjoy the pictures…
