What we love about Coombe Abbey is the sheer range of photo opportunities. Atmospheric corridors, unique and stately Grand Feature bedrooms, a dramatic mix of light and shade, intricate and ornate details . Coombe Abbey is an inspiring and interesting wedding venue and one that never fails to yield beautiful and unique pictures. The grounds too are a wonderful mixture of neat formal gardens, waterside walkways and areas that have been allowed to grow more naturally.
The Abbeygate is where many of Coombe Abbey’s civil weddings take place and has it’s own stage and bar area. The Abbeygate provides a private and atmospheric and setting for your wedding ceremony. The Courthouse was once the estate’s tennis court and is available for wedding ceremonies and receptions.
The suites of Cloisters, Walnut and Stuart are all in close proximity to each other within the main Coombe Abbey building and each have their own atmosphere and decor. Stuart is ideal for a slightly smaller wedding ceremony while Walnut and Cloisters make for a great location for your wedding breakfast.
