“Wow, such amazing photos!
I couldn’t have hoped for anything better. You and Sarah did an amazing job.
Thank you again for everything.
Dan and I really enjoyed working with you both.”
Since our earliest days of photographing weddings, we’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for Highbury Hall. The venue represents a small but significant chapter in the history of the city of Birmingham and has an atmosphere and charm all of its own. Tricky to photograph in places, but capable of yielding beautiful images, Highbury is a venue we always enjoy working at and in August we had the pleasure of returning for the wedding of Annemieke and Dan.
This was a beautiful sunny day so much of the time was spent outdoors in Higbury’s gardens. There was such a nice atmosphere and many of the guests had made the journey from Annemieke’s home country of the Netherlands .
Highbury provides many lovely spots for photos and Annemieke and Dan gave us the opportunity to really indulge through both the afternoon and evening photo shoot. We were treated to some really gorgeous evening light so we took full advantage of it in Highury’s grounds. Evening entertainment was provided by the brilliant Dr Lockhart’s Midnight Soul Train.
To Annemieke and Dan – thank you. We really enjoyed this return to Highbury for your big day. Great weather, a fantastic atmosphere and a lovely crowd of people to work it. Enjoy the pictures.
