Beth and George booked us quite far ahead – eighteen months prior to their date –  and we didn’t actually meet them until the big day.  Theirs was the kind of wedding where everything just flows well and never feels short on time.  Above all else though, the atmosphere was lovely –  everything just felt calm and beautifully intimate.

Their chosen venue was The Mill Barns in Shropshire and this was our second visit there.  In addition to the Mill Barns staff, Beth and George and brought in an independent wedding planner –  Val of Benessamy Wedding & Event Planning, Val, who not only assisted with much of the pre-wedding arrangements, but was also there on the day, working alongside Mill Barns’ own event manager, Donna.  Val was super-helpful to everybody – the venue staff, the guests and ourselves.

We really must make a special mention of the wedding cake, created by Ben The Cake Man.  We worked with Ben briefly earlier in 2018 on a styled shoot and loved his creations on that, but his cake for Beth and George was in another league.  The couple had a subtle woodland theme for their table decorations and Ben’s cake was the centrepiece to all that. Absolutely beautiful craftsmanship.

We loved working on Beth and George’s wedding.  The calm atmosphere, the friendliness of the guests and the other suppliers and the added bonus of not feeling ‘rushed’ at any point just made the day a pleasure from start to finish.  A really big thank you to Beth and George.  Enjoy the pictures…
