If you’re planning a wedding at Avoncroft Museum, you’ve found the right page. We’ve been photographing weddings here since 2009, we know every corner of the site, and – perhaps most importantly – we got married here ourselves in 2011. That’s us in the picture, on our own wedding day.

Avoncroft is unlike any other wedding venue in Worcestershire. The variety of backdrops, the character of the buildings and the sheer scale of the site make it one of the richest environments we photograph in. We’ve worked here many times over the years and always love to return.

Avoncroft Museum:
19 acres of historic buildings and unique photo opportunities

With over a dozen historic buildings spread across 19 acres, Avoncroft offers more photographic variety than almost any other venue in Worcestershire. No two weddings here look the same.

Standouts include the Edwardian tea room, the nailer’s cottage, the chain workshop and the medieval townhouse with its garden — each offering completely different textures, light and character. The tollhouse and threshing barn are favourites for couple portraits, and the iconic windmill is a backdrop that never gets old. The National Telephone Kiosk collection is endlessly fun and always produces something memorable — as does the miniature railway, which brave couples occasionally ride.

Beyond the individual buildings, the walkways, orchards and gardens give us natural, relaxed settings throughout the day — ideal for candid moments when guests are moving between spaces.

Having photographed here since 2009 and knowing every corner of the site, we know exactly where to be and when to make the most of all of it.

Getting married at Avoncroft Museum

Civil wedding ceremonies in New Guesten Hall

Civil ceremonies at Avoncroft take place in the New Guesten Hall — a striking space whose roof dates from the 14th century, originally part of Worcester Cathedral. It seats up to 120 guests, with the smaller Weaver Gallery offering a more intimate option for up to 40.

Blessings in the Mission Church

The Mission Church is one of Avoncroft’s most characterful buildings — a small tin and timber chapel relocated from Whitbourne in Herefordshire. It holds up to 90 guests and can be used for blessings and non-legal ceremonies. It’s an intimate, unusual space that photographs beautifully.

About Robin & Sarah

That’s us on our wedding day at Avoncroft in 2011. The two dogs are Pippa and Bella — both sadly gone now, but they loved Avoncroft almost as much as we do.

We’re based in Catshill, just a short drive away, and have been photographing weddings professionally since 2007. When you book us, you’re booking us — not an associate or third party – and we’ll be there to support you from the first ‘hello’ through to final delivery and beyond.
